Classically trained as a pianist and violinist, Alfonso has lived and breathed music ever since he was a child, yet from an early age knew he had a special affinity for electronic music. Through years of piano recitals, concerts and orchestral performances, Alfonso was immersed in classical music, but electronic music was always on his mind. As his interests shifted towards composition and production, his classical music upbringing provided the perfect backdrop and supporting musical theory to breathe life into his electronic music creations.

As a software engineer and music producer, Alfonso views electronic music as the perfect fusion of his love for technology and the creative realm of music. Like some of his greatest influencers, BT, Alexander Popov, Gareth Emery and Armin Van Buuren, Alfonso is fascinated by sound design, psychoacoustics and the role technology plays in the creative process.

When not in the studio, Alfonso is tearing it up winning time attacks in his Lotus Exige and adding to his collection of series championship medals. Previously, Alfonso (aka AYB Fonzi) was fragging away at the competition as one of the top twelve professionally-contracted Halo players in the world.
